Questions we get every day
Do I need to call my insurance company before calling you?+
No. Call us first if water is actively spreading — stopping the damage comes first. We'll help you open the claim and give your adjuster everything they need. If you've already filed, just give us the claim number.
Do you bill my insurance directly?+
Yes. On covered losses we write the estimate in Xactimate, submit it to your adjuster, and can be paid directly by the carrier with a direction-to-pay. You're responsible for your deductible and anything the policy doesn't cover.
How fast can you get here?+
We answer the phone 24/7 and dispatch emergency calls around the clock across Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Washtenaw counties. Tell us what's happening and we'll give you an honest arrival time on the call.
What does IICRC certified mean?+
The IICRC sets the industry standards that insurance carriers expect restoration work to follow. Restore Right is an IICRC Certified Firm, and our technicians hold individual certifications in water (WRT), fire and smoke (FRT), and odor control (OCT), so the work is done to that standard and documented that way.
Can you file the claim for me?+
Yes. Start it with us on the File a claim page or by phone. We collect the loss details, photos, and your policy information, contact your carrier to open the claim, and handle the adjuster from there. You stay in the loop; you just don't have to run it.
What if my deductible or the uncovered part is more than I can pay right now?+
We offer 0% financing on approved credit for deductibles, non-covered work, and jobs with no claim at all. Ask when you call and we'll go over the options before any work starts.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. Restore Right, LLC holds Michigan Residential Builder License #262600907, has a licensed plumber on the team, and carries general liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request for property managers and adjusters.
Can you fix the pipe that caused the water damage?+
Yes. We have a licensed plumber on staff, so burst pipes, failed supply lines, water heater leaks, and drain backups get repaired by us as part of the job. One call stops the water and starts the drying.
Can you do the rebuild too, or just the cleanup?+
Both. We handle mitigation and reconstruction under one scope, so you're not hiring a second contractor after the drying is done.
What if I'm not filing a claim?+
That's fine. We do plenty of work directly for homeowners and property managers. You'll get a written estimate before any work starts.
Do you work with commercial properties?+
Yes — apartments, offices, retail, and rental portfolios. We work with property managers regularly and can provide W-9s and COIs before the first job.
