We handle the insurance side
Filing a claim while your house is wet is stressful. We do the documentation, the estimating, and the adjuster communication, so you don't have to learn how claims work in the middle of one.
How a claim goes with Restore Right
- 1
Call us first
If damage is active, call us first so it stops getting worse. Then either open the claim yourself or let us file it for you — most people let us.
- 2
We inspect and document
Our technician assesses the loss and starts documentation: photos, measurements, moisture readings, and a written scope of the damage.
- 3
Estimate goes to your adjuster
We write the estimate in Xactimate, the same software your carrier uses, and submit it straight to the adjuster with the supporting documentation.
- 4
Mitigation starts immediately
Emergency work like extraction, drying, and board-up doesn't wait for approval. Policies expect you to prevent further damage, and we document every step.
- 5
Reconstruction is approved and scheduled
Once the rebuild scope is agreed, we schedule the work and order materials. You have one point of contact throughout.
- 6
The carrier pays us directly
With a signed direction-to-pay, the insurance payment comes to us. You're responsible for your deductible and anything the policy doesn't cover, which we'll explain up front.

What we provide on every claim
- Xactimate line-item estimate
- Photo documentation of the loss and the work
- Moisture map and daily drying logs
- Written scope of loss and cause of damage
- Certificate of insurance and W-9 on request
- Direction-to-pay authorization for direct billing
